Mary Bruno, F.E.W. member, collaborated with St John's University pottery director, Richard Bresnahan, to produce a letterpress-printed scroll of the Rule of St. Benedict that measures 32’ long and contains 36 pages. This is being displayed in the the Gathering Place of Saint Benedict’s Monastery. We will meet at the Gathering Place, 104 Chapel Lane, St Joseph with Mary Bruno herself to explain how and why she created this magnificent scroll. Then we will go to Bruno Press, 154 SE 5th Ave, St Joseph, to do a tour of her Letterpress studio. Finally we will all go to Bad Habit for a beer! If the weather is permitting, we could all park at Bad Habit and walk together to the monastery, then walk to Bruno Press and finally back to Bad Habit.
